Missions Updates:

Dec 1, 2016

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Singapore, South East Asia!

What a joy it has been these past days to meet with the leaders and staff of YWAM Singapore! Our meetings have focused on the current work of YWAM Singapore (SG) and on areas that JoAnn & I could serve alongside them both in SG and in SE Asia. The possibilities are many and exciting.  However, our Work Visa is in question.

Singapore Visa -  Pray with us

The Singapore government has indicated they may NOT grant us a Work Visa based on our current application.  However we will continue to try with the help of the YWAM SG office to obtain a Visa.  Please pray with us for our Visa entry. Thank you.  We will update you as we get more information.

South East Asia Call

JoAnn & I believe God is asking us to focus our missionary work in SE Asia these next years. Of course the region is huge with millions of people. We are asking God to guide us to YWAM partner missionary works in the region where we can be a source of encouragement and counsel from our 40 years of missionary service.   Singapore would be a place of service but also a "hub" from which we would serve into the Region.  Some of the opportunities before us are...

Bringing Healing to Families JoAnn is invited to serve on staff of the Foundations in Counseling Ministry (FCM) School in Singapore. This school equips ministers to bring healing and wholeness to families and individuals.  The FCM school will also be starting in Vietnam where she could serve in the future.

YWAM Ships  YWAM is now operating some 22 vessels around the world. These vessels range from small cruise ships, to ocean going yachts and river boats. The ship's crew and teams help improve the quality of life through medical care along with sharing God's message of redemption and hope.  Tim has been asked to be a YWAM Ships Ambassador in Singapore to help promote and grow this Ship ministry in SE Asia. The need is great among remote peoples living on the banks of large inland rivers and coast-lands.

JoAnn & I would like to thank you for your faithful support of our missionary work these past years among the Chinese in Asia.   God is now leading us into a new region of Asia and we need your prayers and partnership as much as ever.  Thank you for joining us as we seek to be obedient to fulfill our part in seeing multitudes of Asians step out of darkness into God's marvelous Light in Christ.

Because He first loved us,

Tim & JoAnn
